The more reference the better! Send along any pictures, mood boards, etc. with your commission request so that I know what you’re looking for! It can also help if you pick out a previous piece of work that I’ve done so I know what kind of style/finish you’re looking for.
Let me know if you have a specific deadline in mind for your piece. My work time varies but I’m happy to try to work with your schedule. Rush pieces (< 5 day turnaround) may incur an additional fee.
Terms & Conditions
Payment is due up front when a commission is agreed upon.
Except when the total cost is greater than $100, in which case a down payment of 50% of the total cost is due up front with the remainder being due when the sketch is approved by the commissioner
Payment is handled through Paypal invoices. Please do not send commission payments outside of invoice payments.
Refunds are not provided after a finished product is delivered.
A full refund may be provided prior to the completion of the sketch stage.
Once a sketch has been completed and approved, refunds may not exceed 50% of the total cost.
The artist retains the copyright on commissioned work and may use it in portfolios/galleries unless otherwise negotiated.
The commissioner receives a non-commercial, personal-use license for the commissioned art. You are free to post this art anywhere so long as proper credit is given but may not monetize it or reproduce it.
Proper credit consists of accreditation of the art to “Shaulah” and a link to either https://shaulah.com/ or the appropriate social media profile (@Shaulahart for twitter and tumblr)
The artist reserves the right to refuse service.
